Mrs. Eterebhe Oduwole

Mrs. Eterebhe Theresa Oduwole is a registered nurse and midwife. She was trained in basic nursing at the School of Nursing, Specialist Hospital, Benin City from 1973 to 1976; midwifery at the School of Midwifery, Lagos University Teaching Hospital qualifying in 1981; and intensive care nursing at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) in 1984. She also obtained various qualifications in nursing administration at LUTH.

In a career spanning 17 years at LUTH, she was, staff nurse, nursing sister and matron of the neonatal department. She voluntarily retired from LUTH in 1994 to join Lifeline Children’s Hospital group as the pioneer Senior Matron in charge. At Lifeline, she is now the Health Services Manager. She was appointed to the board of the group in 2011.

Mrs. Oduwole has over 30 years experience in neonatology and paediatric nursing.  As a senior matron, she headed various departments at LUTH. She was also involved in the World Health Organization’s surveillance programme for Acute Flaccid Paralysis in Lagos State in 2001.  At Lifeline, she has attended several administrative courses on Human Resources Management, Team Building, Customer Care and others.

Mrs. Oduwole is an ordained reverend of Total Gospel Bible Church, Nigeria, where she co-pastors a church at Surulere, Lagos.
